What:         5K (3.1 miles) Walk; 1/5 mile Walk for physically challenged.  Consists of  volunteers, walkers and runners from Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Fulton, Henry, Meriwether, Spalding and Troup Counties and anyone else who wants to join. When:       Saturday, October 1, 2011                                      Registration – 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.                    Runners and Walkers start at 9:30 a.m. Where:     Frederick Brown, Jr., Amphitheater Parking Lot, 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree                   City, GA Why:         To raise money for research, personalized counseling, financial assistance,                    support groups & educational programs for those coping with Alzheimer’s                    Disease & to raise awareness. Walk Day: Walk starts and ends at Amphitheater Parking Lot                     Walk on cart paths winding through subdivisions and forests                     Golf carts stationed every ½ mile to assist walkers                    Water stations located at every mile marker                     Breakfast items before Walk; hot dog & hamburger lunch provided by                    Peachtree City Kiwanis after Walk, all free                    Music by Peachtree Jazz Edition, before Walk warmup by World Gym Fitness                    Drawing of prizes after Walk
